Orders and Shipping
All funds raised through the Trystan Foundation Shop are used to help cover costs of our nonprofit activities. Funds are used for many things but here are some examples:
purchase of video, photo, and audio equipment
food and shelter costs for volunteers on assignments
printing and distribution costs for educational books and videos to those who cannot access them otherwise
We normally process and ship your order within 3 days. We are an all volunteer nonprofit and sometimes need an extra day or two. Keep in mind that we have other jobs during the weeks to keep our kids clothed and fed. There are seasons in the year when the main volunteers are on assignment so orders may take up to 7 business days during this period. In addition, there are 3 holiday weeks during the year: normally 1 week in the Summer and 2 weeks in the mid-Winter. Our computers may even be on holiday during this time.

Delivery is completely dependent on the shipping method and carrier you select. For an Eastern US shipping example, USPS normally takes 2 of their business days to deliver a Priority package while Media Mail is commonly 4-7 days. International shipments have even more variables depending on the carrier(s) involved.
For large shipments (more than $150 in regular shipping costs), we suggest emailing us to review freight or other options. If you would like to discuss special shipping options then send us an email: [email protected]
Returns and Replacement Policy
We stand behind everything we sell. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will do our best to make it right. We will replace or refund as long as claims are made within 30 days of purchase. Email us at: [email protected] with your name, order number, an explanation of the issue, and a picture if appropriate. If return shipping is necessary, we will provide a shipping label by email. If our main volunteers are not on assignment for a project then calling our US Phone number is also an option: 770-540-2871
Notes on Special Items
Please keep in mind that all clay pottery items and other handmade items in our shop are crafted individually and will be unique. Clay pottery is inherently coarse and will have surface character for both the bisque and glazed finishes. If your expectation is perfect uniformity with no individual character, then we suggest looking elsewhere for your items. Also, Shipping is a major challenge for clay pottery and we do our best to package the items, but breakage happens occasionally. We replace all shipping breakage items in a timely manner as long as there is sufficient stock. In the case of unique pieces with no reasonably similar replacement that you agree to, a full refund is issued.
Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:
• See what data we have about you, if any.
• Change/correct any data we have about you.
• Have us delete any data we have about you.
• Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only those who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
We use “cookies” on this site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor’s hard drive to help us improve your access to our site and identify repeat visitors to our site. For instance, when we use a cookie to identify you, you would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. Cookies can also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information on our site.
In addition to the above, we do collect information on who visits our site and other metrics such as: language spoken, length of time on website, pages viewed, operating system, internet browser, and region of the world. We use these additional details to improve user experience on the website and adjust our methods to reach target audiences for our material.
